Bids & contracts
The area of public procurement law covers both public procurement agents and suppliers. This is a fairly recent and fast-moving area of law. Ongoing legislative activities, both in Germany and at European level, and the increasingly diverse range of decisions taken by procurement chambers and higher regional courts make expert assistance in procurement processes essential.

We have a broad range of experience in this area, including procurement assistance for public bodies at the specifications stage, representation in review procedures and in relation to secondary claims, e.g. claims for damages.

Renting & letting
We can advise, support and represent letting agents, landlords and tenants in the area of housing law and commercial tenancy law, from contract negotiations to handover of the premises once the tenancy agreement ends.

We regularly check tenancy agreements in line with the current legislative requirements and court decisions. We can spot invalid clauses like ‘aesthetic repairs’ immediately and provide the necessary advice and assistance.

We can also take on out-of-court correspondence for you – issuing warnings and giving notice to tenants who fail to pay the rent. If it is not possible to settle the matter out of court, we can commence legal actions for payment or possession on your behalf.

In the specialist area of home ownership law, we advise property managers and owners’ associations in the event of disputes between owners, with the manager, or with third parties.

Our services range from checking purchase and management contracts, providing advice before and during an owners’ meeting (e.g. with regard to the majority needed for a decision to be passed), collecting maintenance fees, challenging decisions and representation in legal challenges, and actions for payment and cases concerning defects.
