Dr. Hel­mut Hauswirth

Dr. Helmut Hauswirth, born in 1955; Studied law at the University of Tübingen, traineeship at the district court of Stuttgart, doctorate in corporate law. Dr. Hauswirth worked as a lawyer first and subsequently, from 1987 to 2010, in the tax department of Ernst & Young. During this time, he was appointed as tax consultant and company lawyer. As tax partner at Ernst & Young, he specialized in International Tax Law, Group Tax Law and Taxation of Financial Services Companies. Since 2010, he was a partner at hegmann metter Wirtschaftsprüfer Steuerberater in Böblingen. Dr. Hauswirth gives lectures at symposia and conventions for more than 20 years, among others at the DAI German Bar Association, the Federal Chamber of Tax Consultants, regional chambers of tax consultants, chambers of industry and commerce, praticularly with regard to international tax law, taxation of partnerships and corporations and company law. In January 2017, the advisory firm hegmann metter merged with BSKP.
