Prof. Dr. Tho­mas Barth

Prof Dr Thomas Barth was born in Stuttgart in 1970. He has been Managing Director at Kruse & Partner since 2012. After studying industrial engineering and completing his doctorate, he worked for a Big Four company for several years before being offered a position at Nürtingen-Geislingen University specialising in controlling.

After passing the tax consultant exam, he worked part-time for several years in the auditing company of the insolvency administrator Derra, Meyer & Partner in Ulm. During this time, he focussed primarily on corporate restructuring and company succession. As the son of a family of entrepreneurs, he has a deep understanding of small and medium-sized companies and the concerns and needs of entrepreneurs.

Prof Dr Barth is also a member of the examination board for the auditor exam in Baden-Württemberg and a lecturer at the Stuttgart Chamber of Crafts. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis and spending time with his family. He is also passionate about football and Stuttgarter Kickers.
