Yanxia Zhou was born in 1979 in China. She studied law at the East China University of Political Science and Law and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B.). After she was admitted to the bar in 2007, in 2008 she received a license from the People's Republic of China to practice as a lawyer.
Also in 2008, the National University of Singapore (NUS) awarded her the title of Master of Laws (LL.M). In 2014/2015 she completed her Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Economics and Law (HWR) in Berlin.
Before joining BSKP in 2015, she worked for ten years as a lawyer for the law firms Hemmelrath, Salans and Yingke and as a legal consultant for Bayer China.
In China, she has advised various companies on economic and legal issues and has extensive experience in advising and supporting Chinese clients in their investments and business deals abroad. At the same time, she assisted foreign clients with the founding of companies in China and advised on business law topics.
In the past, Ms. Zhou has worked with a wide range of clients, such as Transport and logistics, aircraft, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, cars or retail.
